    INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups prepared coffee cooled
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • DIRECTIONS

    1. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use, up to a few days.

    2. To use, place meat (about 2-4 pounds of pork or beef) in a resealable bag, cover with marinade, seal bag, and place in refrigerator. Marinate a few hours or depending on the type of meat marinate overnight. Drain marinade from bag into a small saucepan, pat meat dry, and cook meat as desired.

    3. Place saucepan with marinade over high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced, about 10-15 minutes. Serve with meat.
